That bike is worthless. If that is a real SX200, the side panels are worth about $500.00 USD, the seats are wrong, the front disk brakes are missing, wrong levers on the handle bars. That is just from the picture. No clue about the possible mess under the side panels and inside the engine. Does the person have the engine and frame serial numbers listed ? Cheers, Roberto |

That's assuming the panels are not hammered out of LI panels, as most of the TV/Special ones are. Carl

BMC and I went to have a look at it today Just for fun. Its in a British Car restoration place. When we walked in we were asked if we were there to see Richard(wink wink).Do you want to buy some golf shoes? (several hundred pair leaning against the wall...no sais we, We are here to see the lambretta. Oh sais the guy and we are left to poke and prod. Its scary....The cowels are reworked LI and weigh about 10 lbs each..I took off the engine side cowel to see numbers and a huge chunk of bondo fell off the bottom of the cowel. Its numbered as a SX 150, frame and engine. Horn cast is from a GP and the Innocenti badge is held in by a big blob of rubber cement. The disk brake is incomplete but present. The guys sais it starts and rides well. Although I have never seen this brand of carb before...Sort of a Del-orto but backwards... I didnt want to try... All in all Pretty Fuckin scary... He only wants $4900. for it...god I hope no-one local buys it.. Scott..Vancouver... |
